The Story Behind the Hunt

A treasure hunter who ended up with too many treasures.

“To me, treasure hunting is about the things that make me stop and look twice.”

I've always been drawn to the things that make me stop and look twice. Sometimes it's the color, the shape, the way the light catches the glass, an unusual pattern, a tiny detail, or simply something I can't quite explain. Every piece is different, but they all have one thing in common — something about them made me have to take a closer look, and usually, bring them home.

FindMissingPieces is my way of sharing those treasures. Each one was chosen individually because it caught my eye, sparked my curiosity, or simply felt too special to leave behind. I love learning what I can about the pieces I find, but more than anything, I love the idea that something that became one of my treasures might eventually become one of yours. So take a look around. You may find something you've been searching for — or discover the piece you never knew was missing until you found it.

If you're hunting for something specific — a pattern your grandmother had, or a bowl to complete a set — reach out. I'm at the shops every week anyway, and I'd love to keep my eyes open for you.
